Goil Donates Barriers to STMA

    Ghana Oil Company Limited (Goil) has presented seventy (70) pieces of new gessey barriers worth fifty thousand Ghana cedis (GH50,000.00) to the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly at a short ceremony at the premises of the Assembly in Sekondi The presentation was in line with the Assembly's call to Corporate Ghana to support in the management of vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the Metropolis especially within the Central business district of Takoradi. Presenting the items to the Assembly, the Western and Central zonal manager of Goil, Mr. Enock Bimpong indicated that the donation is in line with the corporate social responsibility of Goil to give back to the society. He further indicated that Goil's commitment to partner key stakeholders in ensuring socio-economic development in all its operational areas. The Metropolitan Chief Executive, Hon. Anthony K.K Sam who received the items expressed his appreciation to the company and promised to put the barriers to good use. He further appealed to other corporate institution to emulated the kind gesture portrayed by Goil and support the Assembly to ensure effective management of Vehicle and pedestrian movement within the Metropolis Present at the presentation ceremony were the Western Regional commander of the Motor Traffic and Transport Division of the Ghana Police Service, Superintendent Richard Appiah, the manager of Edzii Filling Station, Miss Loretta Edzii, representatives from the National Petroleum Authority and National Road Safety Commission.
