The Outgoing City Manager of the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA), Mr. John Nana Owu, has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to management and staff of the Assembly for the support and co-operation extended to him over the 6 years period he occupied the office of Metro Co-ordinating Director. He indicated that the overwhelming support he received enabled him to achieve a lot and also empowered him to give the Assembly a facelift in some of its facilities. He revealed that one of his greatest achievements was his commitment to ensure that staff paid under the Internally Generated Fund (IGF) had their SSNIT contributions paid on time contrary to what was the case before assuming office.
