STMA Held Exit Conference For Out-Going NSS Personnel

The Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly has organized an exit conference for the 2022/2023 National Service Personnel who have completed their mandatory service with the Assembly. Speaking at the ceremony, the Metropolitan Chief Executive for the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly, Hon. Abdul-Mumin Issah, thanked the personnel for their service to the Assembly and advised them to diligently apply the knowledge they have acquired during the service period to prepare for the job market. The Mayor entreated the personnel to develop an interest in setting up their jobs to close the unemployment gap in the country. He added that whilst the government is doing everything possible through the various flagship initiatives to create jobs for the unemployed, more employment opportunities would be created if the youth start something for themselves. The Metro Coordinating Director, Mr. Innocent Haligah on his part, advised the personnel to apply the knowledge they acquired during their stay with the Assembly. He urged them to be ambassadors of the Assembly to the world by demonstrating positive attitudes wherever they work. He encouraged the personnel to keep in touch and call for assistance when the need arises. On building a successful career after service, Ms. Marian Acquah Aggrey – CEO of MARAC Jewellery, spoke to the personnel on how to nurture and sustain a passion for a successful career. Mr. Peter Anowie, the CEO of Kolic Ventures, also advised the personnel on developing a positive mindset, job application and studying abroad opportunities.
