TAKORADI AMANFUL DIVISIONAL CHIEF PAYS COURTESY CALL ON STMA MAYOR

The Divisional Chief of Takoradi Amanful, Nana Obo Atta Kojo Essuon III, on Thursday, January 15, 2026, led a delegation to pay a courtesy call on the Metropolitan Chief Executive of Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA), Hon. Fredrick F. Faidoo, at his office in Sekondi.

Among the delegation were the Queen Mother, Nana Effiekisim Mansa IV, the Ebusuapanyin, and some principal elders of the Royal Ebiradze Stool Family of Takoradi Amanful.

The visit afforded the royal family and STMA management the opportunity to discuss matters of mutual interest, particularly the impending customary rite scheduled to be performed at the Takoradi Market Relocation Site (New Market) on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.

Discussions also covered broader socio-economic development issues within the Central Business District of Takoradi, including the proposed redevelopment of the Takoradi Main “Spain” area and the Ebriuwfomu Market site. Nana Obo Atta highlighted the importance of collaboration between the Assembly and traditional leaders to ensure orderly development and economic growth within the metropolis.

Both the Metropolitan Chief Executive and Nana Obo Atta Kojo Essuon III reaffirmed their commitment to work closely together to promote development in Takoradi and its environs. They emphasized the need for continuous dialogue and cooperation between the Assembly and royal family to advance peace, progress, and inclusive development in Takoradi and beyond.
